Lily-Rose Melody Depp (born May 27, 1999) is an American actress and model. She is the daughter of Johnny Depp and his former partner Vanessa Paradis, both of whom are also actors. Depp also is featured on her mother’s album Bliss.
Lily-Rose Melody Depp was born to Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis in Paris, France, on May 27, 1999. Paradis is from Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, France, the daughter of interior designers André and Corinne Paradis. After Johnny and Paradis split in 2012 after fourteen years together, they set up shared joint custody of Lily-Rose, who splits her time between Los Angeles and Paris. Her parents were never married.
Lily-Rose is the older sister of John “Jack” Christopher Depp III. She is the stepdaughter of American actress Amber Heard, whom Johnny married in February 2015, and the niece of French actress Alysson Paradis through her mother.
Since birth Lily-Rose has been the subject of tabloid and media reporting, including birthdays, attendance at society events, and reviews of her fashion choices.
In April 2015, Depp posed for a photo-shoot in the Australian magazine Oyster by Dana Boulos and Maggie Silverman. The shoot was reported by E! News.
In July 2015, Lily-Rose Depp debuted as a model for Chanel. She is also starring in her first music video; joining Irish rapper Rejjie Snow in his new video for “All Around the World”.

Just when we thought Lily-Rose Depp’s month couldn’t get any more enviable (in the last nine days she’s walked in the Chanel couture show and starred in a music video), the 16-year-old has been announced as the new Chanel ambassador and the face of the label’s Pearl eyewear collection.
The daughter of Karl Lagerfeld’s long-time muse Vanessa Paradis (who appeared in her first Chanel campaign in 1990 and also walked in the casino-themed catwalk show in Paris), Depp is already carving out her own path in the industry and is fast becoming a favourite of the brand’s creative director. “Lily-Rose is stunning, she’s a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star,” Lagerfeld said of the announcement.
