TILDA SWINTON
Katherine Mathilda “Tilda” Swinton (born 5 November 1960) is a British actress and model known for both arthouse and mainstream films. She has appeared in a number of films, including Burn After Reading, The Beach, The Chronicles of Narnia, and was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performances in The Deep End and We Need to Talk About Kevin. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Michael Clayton in 2007.
Swinton lives in Nairn, overlooking the Moray Firth in the Highland region of Scotland with her twins and her partner Sandro Kopp, a German/New Zealand painter. John Byrne, father to their twins Honor and Xavier (born 1997), lives in Edinburgh with his partner Jeanine Davies.
In 2013, Swinton was named as one of the fifty best-dressed over 50s by The Guardian.

From the palest pinks to dusky damask hues, designers drenched the autumn/winter 2013-14 collections in a warm rosy glow.
An overtly feminine and flattering palette, head-to-toe rose tones offer a beautiful spin on autumn’s pre-eminent trend: the new womanly allure.
“Pink makes the prettiest addition to winter wardrobes; partner it with soft grey and black for an instant burst of femininity,” advises Vogue fashion features director Sarah Harris.
The pink piece to invest in this winter is a coat. “This season pink is big for outerwear,” says Vogue fashion editor Francesca Burns. “Woolly coats from Celine, Miu Miu and Mulberry will brighten gloomy days.”
A trend that transcends both evening and day, slip dresses and shifts for cocktail hour came in rosy hues at Nina Ricci, Lanvin and Jonathan Saunders.
