NIVEA: NIVEA EAU DE TOILETTE

One of the best known companies for skin care, Nivea, launches Nivea Eau de Toilette in October 2015. This is not the first edition of this fragrance; there is a 2011 version as well. Nivea is a scent of freshness, cleanliness and care, or the scent of most famous cream in the world.

The composition opens with citrusy and clean notes of bergamot, mandarin and lavender. The heart is a bouquet of lily of the valley, rose, freesia and ylang-ylang. Woody shades of sandalwood wrap the base together with powdery accords. The creation is signed by Isabelle Abram.

It is available as 30 ml Eau de Toilette in a round, white and opaque bottle.

VICTORIA BECKHAM: VICTORIA BECKHAM PARTNERS WITH ESTÉE LAUDER

Victoria Beckham is creating a limited-edition make-up collection in partnership with Estée Lauder, launching later this year. The designer has previously expressed her wishes to make a foray into the beauty industry – she also launched two nail polishes with Nails Inc in 2014 – but this is the first time she has worked on a full make-up line bearing her name.

“I am thrilled to be launching this limited-edition make-up collection with Estée Lauder,” said Beckham. “The whole process has been both inspiring and eye-opening – from going back and revisiting the Estée Lauder archives through to working on the product with the Estée team, this feels like the perfect make-up partnership for me and my brand. I had long admired Estée Lauder the woman, and the powerful brand that she created, so I am excited to offer both of our customers this make-up range and play a small part in her vision for women.”

Lauder has been working on expanding its customer base in recent years, using social media to first break its campaigns with Kendall Jenner, bringing the likes of Eva Mendes and blogger Irene Kim on board and launching the Estée Edit – aimed at younger customers. Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder (the name of the new line) looks to be a collection that will please customers old and new, incorporating Beckham’s taste for wearability, quality and femininity – think flattering hues, sleek packaging, comfortable formulas. As of September the collection will be available on both Victoriabeckham.com and Esteelauder.com, as well as further selected retailers.

“We are excited to join forces and bring Victoria’s take on beauty to her many fans around the world,” said Jane Hertzmark Hudis, group president of The Estée Lauder Companies. “Victoria is an entrepreneur in the true spirit of our founder, Estée Lauder, with a real understanding of what women want, and a commitment to making women look and feel their most beautiful. Victoria has a passion for beauty and we are delighted to welcome her into our brand.”

We anticipate some seriously flattering nude hues and the highlighter to end all highlighters.
